Dusselle/Ducille family
It seems possible that the name Dussell, and its many variations, was introduced into Jamaica by Gabriel A. Dussell in the early 19th century. He may have been born in France, emigrated to Haiti, and moved on to Jamaica. The evidence for that course of events is, so far, very limited, but his presence in Jamaica is clearly established by Jamaican and British records, as indicated below. The 'A.' in his name is shown as standing for various names from 'Ambroise' to 'Alford'!
